KYC (Know Your Customer) is our identity verification process. It ensures every user on GigGenius is a real, trustworthy person — keeping scammers out and protecting both freelancers and clients.
How long does KYC approval take?
Most KYC applications are reviewed within 24-48 hours. Our team manually reviews each submission to ensure the highest platform quality.
Are there any fees to join or apply for jobs?
No. Creating an account, building your profile, and applying for jobs are completely free. GigGenius only earns a small commission when a project is successfully completed.
How does payment work?
Clients fund milestones through our secure payment gateway. Funds are held in escrow and released to the Genius upon satisfactory project completion. This protects both parties.
What happens if there's a dispute?
GigGenius provides a built-in dispute resolution process. Our team mediates between both parties and makes a final, binding decision based on the evidence provided.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis through our dispute resolution process. If a Genius fails to deliver the agreed work, clients are entitled to a full or partial refund.
How do I become an affiliate?
Visit our Affiliate Program page and sign up. You'll earn recurring commissions — 0.5% from freelancer payouts or 1% from client spending — for every active referral.
